WHO CAN ATTEND/QUIÉN PUEDE ASISTIR
We are looking for 20 Latina|x|e women who are interested in learning about oral histories and then conducting and recording interviews with other Latina|x|e through the winter of 2023. There are no other requirements. / Estamos buscando 20 mujeres latinas que estén interesadas en aprender sobre historias orales/vividas y luego realizar y grabar entrevistas con otras latina|x|e durante el invierno de 2023. No hay otros requisitos.
BACKGROUND/ANTECEDENTES
In 2022, Charter Oak launched The Ada Maria Isasi-Diaz Justice Institute to honor and keep alive the work of theologian/activist Dr. Ada Maria Isasi-Diaz, to showcase the work of Latina|x|e women scholars and, as Dr. Isasi-Diaz did, to preserve the stories of Latina|x|e life stories as a sacred source of wisdom. / En el 2022, Charter Oak lanzó el Instituto de Justicia Ada María Isasi-Díaz para honrar y mantener vivo el trabajo de la teóloga y mostrar el trabajo de las académicas latina|x|e como lo hizo la activista, Dra. Isasi-Díaz, y preservar las historias de las vidas de mujeres latina|x|e como una fuente sagrada de sabiduría.
