Help Us Create a Moving Memorial to BIPOC Victims of Police Violence

by | Nov 26, 2021

George Gould spent 26 years in a Connecticut prison after being wrongly convicted of a murder he didn’t commit. Working with Community Partners in Action‘s Prison Arts Program, Charter Oak Cultural Center has commissioned Gould to create a moving memorial to BIPOC victims of police violence. The original artwork will be available to all in the community who want to remember those who have been lost and reflect on what we can do to end systemic racism in our criminal justice system. Sustainable CT is matching all gifts up to our goal of $1,500 with the majority of the funds raised going to Gould. MAKE A DONATION HERE
