Andrea Barton, Steven & Benjamin Ostrowski

Andrea Barton is a mother, a daughter, a poet, and a teacher, in that order. Her work has appeared in publications such as The Labletter, The Cleave Webzine, Broken Publications,(a journal of domestic violence,) Haiku Journal #42, Bards Against Hunger Anthology. Most recently she and some other local poets (including Jim Finnegan) published an anthology, Shadows from Unfinished Things. Andrea has taught Creative Writing, American Lit, and Communications at RHAM High School in Hebron, CT for over 20 years. Andrea and her 15 year old daughter live on 4 acres of ticks and spiders and yard work in Glastonbury, CT.
Benjamin Ostrowski is a PhD student studying Organizational Behavior at Carnegie Mellon University. He has poems published in The Gyroscope Review, Blue Muse, weirderary, The Dark River Review, An Anthology of Emerging Poets, andThe American Journal of Poetry. Benjamin and his father, Steven Ostrowski, are coauthors of a book of poems called Penultimate Human Constellation, published by Tolsun Books in 2018.
Steven Ostrowski is a poet, fiction writer, painter and songwriter. In 2009, he won Harpur Palate’s Milton Kessler Award for a single poem. In 2017, he won The Atlantic Road Prize for his long poem, After the Tate Modern, which was published as a chapbook by Island Verse Editions in 2018. He has published five chapbooks, and his work appears widely in literary journals, magazines, and anthologies. He teaches in the English Department at Central Connecticut State University.
