A four-week lunchtime series with Rabbi Donna Berman.
Tuesday, July 19 at 12pm
Tuesday, July 26 at 12pm
Tuesday, August 2 at 12pm
Tuesday, August 9 at 12pm
Starting July 19th, we will be resuming our ongoing exploration of THE 1619 PROJECT: A New Origin Story, an expansion of The New York Times’ groundbreaking study of how the legacy of slavery, tragically, continues to impact life in the U.S. in 2022. Grab your lunch and sit with Executive Director, Rabbi Berman, on Zoom, as we read, discuss and integrate the truths imparted by this rich and provocative text.
Our first session on July 19 at 12pm EST will focus on Chapter 1, Nikole Hannah-Jones’ essay “Democracy.”
