About THERE’S A BEAR ON MY CHAIR:
Poor Mouse! A bear has settled in his favorite chair, and that chair just isn’t big enough for two. Mouse tries all kinds of tactics to move pesky Bear, but nothing works. Once Mouse has gone, Bear gets up and walks home. But what’s that? Is that a mouse in Bear’s house?
About TWO RIGHT FEET ARTS:
Since it’s inception in 2000, Two Right Feet Arts has provided literacy, school readiness, and interactive educational reading enrichment programs for children.
Our founder and curriculum developer, Susan, obtained degrees in dance and speech therapy. While Susan was working in a Head Start program her husband Garrett, a bass player, volunteered his time providing live music for Susan’s sessions. The response from the kids was positive! With encouragement from teachers in the Head Start staff, Two Right Feet Arts was born.
Since our start we’ve been joined by our daughter Hannah who shares her mom’s passion for dance and enjoys using what she’s learned studying occupational therapy (COTA). After Susan passed away in 2012, Hannah took over the full time role of program director, developer, and session leader.
Two Right Feet has expanded to provide reading enrichment for children ages preschool-3rd grade.
