How can concerned citizens of Connecticut support the Gwich’in Nation to protect their sacred land and animals? How does the insurance industry in Hartford impact Indigenous Peoples in the U.S.?

Join Connecticut Citizen Action Group, Sierra Club Connecticut and the Arctic Refuge Defense Campaign on September 7th at 6pm at the Charter Oak Cultural Center for a very special conversation, featuring community leaders and advocates working to protect sacred land in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This conversation will spotlight Gwich’in leadership and allies who are working to protect the sacred coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from destructive and unwanted oil and gas development.
